TSC provides concrete strength testing for a variety of sizes of concrete cylinders via compressive strength testing procedures in accordance with AASHTO C39 standards. Additionally, we are an AASHTO Accredited Lab. Our field and lab technicans are ACI Certified.
Technicians make cylinders in the field and then bring them back to our lab, where we break the cylinders, and carefully record the compressive strength of each specimen. Each step of the way is documented, so you are always up to speed with what's going on with your project. Our Engineers will also alert you if low strengths are found.
If you already have the cylinders made, we can also accept contractor made cylinders.
Field reports are generated when techs are working with your concrete in the field. They will log how many sets of cylinders that were made on site and other testing metrics such as Slump, Air Content, and Unit Weight.
After the cylinders are broken by our lab techs, the results will be reported to you on individual, per set, concrete reports that will detail the compressive strength of each specimen and how it stacks up against the design strength of the mix and/or your specific project specifications.
Reports will automatically be sent to you via our in-house Document Reporting system. This allows us to send you your results as quickly as possible. We also allow you to customize the distribution list to include any of the people from your team who should also get the results.
